About the project

We worked with established client, Cunard, as they officially named their newest ship, Queen Anne, at a spectacular star-studded ceremony in the brand’s spiritual home of Liverpool.

The campaign, A New Queen at Sea, featured a wide range of our content before, during and after the event, with multiple inserts in the ceremony itself, as well as substantial coverage on social media.

The City of Liverpool was named as Queen Anne’s Godparent with five distinguished Liverpool icons selected to represent the city and officially name the ship.

Our stunning drone footage captured the bond between city and ship, and to end this emotional and historic day our highlights edit was played out to the crowd of tens of thousands of people gathered at the Waterfront.

Success was built on the strength of our team, based both on board and on shore, with our onsite mobile edit suites allowing flexibility and the ability to react on the ground.

Following a hugely successful year for the brand, Cunard was named Walpole’s British Luxury Brand of the Year, followed by this campaign winning the prestigious Event/Launch of the Year at the PRCA Awards 2024.
